Mr W. G. Eaddell, S.M., delivered judgment in. the Magistrate’s Court yesterday in the case George Oalrymple,_ professional accountant, against the Wellington Tramway Employees’ "Union. Plaintiff claimed from the defendants the sum of £2O for services rendered in connection with the audit of the union’s boots between March 27th and May 24th. The defence stated that the work was to have been done for £3 3s, and that it had not been efficiently performed. His Worship; in his judgment, said that the evidence did not disclose that an arrangement had been arrived at respecting the amount of professional fees -to be charged. He further held that the work had not been completed, and gave judgment for plaintiff for £9 9s, with costs £1 16s. Mr G. G. G. Watson accepted judgment on behalf of the plaintiff,, and Mr H. !>'.
