The subject of military service was considered yesterday "lien at a meeting of the Advisory Board of the’ Sew Zealand Employers’ Federation held yesterday the following motions wero adopted: “That a sufc-comniittco ho set up, consisting of the president and the secretary, to confer with representatives of the Second Division League, also to interview Burgeon-General Henderson and other officials, with the object of formulating some practicable scheme which will result in as little dislocation of business as possible, for reference to district associations, and subject to their approval to make representations to Government in connection with the matter.” “That this meeting considers that steps should be taken to discontinue the holding of territorial camps and training during the period of the war, and that strong representations be made to the Minister for Defence in this connection.”
