GRAND LODGE MEETING. On resuming yesterday morning tho Grand Lodge discussed various reports. Tho recommendation of the Wellington District Lodge re the‘'state of the Order was commenced and was discussed at considerable length. The report of the special finance committee was received and adopted. The second remit on the agenda paper (Star of Newton) was discussed. The political action committee was requested to report on clause 6, agenda paper. The election of officers was adjourned till next day. JUVENILE BALLY.

A juvenile rally under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge was held in the Baptist schoolroom last evening. The hall was crowded with juvenile and adult members and visitors. ’Sis. Mrs Gunnell, A.'G.S.J.W. (Christchurch) presided, assisted by Bro. Bose (Hope of Petone Temple) and Sis. Mrs Roberts (Rising Star of Wellington Temple). Bro. D. C. Cameron, G.E.S. and Bro. Ellis gave a short address, also Bro. Griffiths and Aynsley.

The following contributed to tho programme:—Pianoforte duet, Sister Leslie j recitation, Sister Bennett; song, Sister Phyllis Grey (encore); recitation, Sister Duncan; duet. Sisters Petherick and Roberts; song, Sister Irene Grey; temperance song, Sisters Roberta, Petberick and Bro. Roberts; recitation, Sister Hitchin; Sister D. Roberts.

Sister Watson, P.S.J.W., addressed the meeting, also Bro. G. Andrews, P.G.C.T.
