SATURDAY’S MATCHES "KAROEI CLUB. The Karori Defence Club fired the third match* of its second series on Saturday afternoon on the Petone Hifle Club’s range at Waiwetu. The following are the best results :■
SUBURBS CLUB. The Suburbs Club continued trophy shootingon Saturday atOOO and COO yards, this matoh„boma: the third, i' l the towth series. Next Saturday the club will fire against the Kami Club at Miramar, at 300, 500 and 600 .yards. PETONE CLUB. t The Petono Club held a practice shoot at Waiwetu on Saturday, at COO and 700 yards. The light and weather were unfavourable ■to' good shooting, and consequently the scores ..were not un to the average, although Riflemen A. Ballinger and 11. - Ryan did fairly well.
