LOCAL SHORTAGE REDUCED. Following are the latest accepted recruits from No. 5 Group for the infantry branch J. Oakhurst, clerk, Windsor Place. J. McUuinesS, turner. Thistle Inn, 1». M. Briggs, carpenter, Majeribankfi R. R. Te Meroi. millhand. Sesteun. SENT TO CAMP. Nine men were sent' to camp yesterday from No. 5 Group to help, make up the infantry shortage in the 19 th- Reinforcements. Eight men are still required to extinguish the local, shortage for this draft. The names of the then who were sent to camp, yesterday are as follow !“—J. W. Beattie, T. Benson. GB. Fleet, P.J.
