Gamage; jmit for duty, H Company, The following n.c.o.’s of the New Zealand Field Artillery, 10th j Bemforcoments, have been appointed 2nd lieutenants, and posted as stated 10th Artillery; Sergeant T. H. UawS °lith Artillery: Sergeant H. M. Peter--50 mb - Artillery : Sergeant-Major/ W. E. M. tees, Sergeant J. A. Guild. Major B. Jordan, infantry, has reported at Trentbam Camp for duty. The under-mentioned officers have been posted to the 13th Infantry Reinforcements, as follow: — , E Company: 2nd Lieutenant I. C. Grant.'- , T F.Company: 2nd Lieutenants W. J. Orgab, V. Higgins, J. B. Parker, B. M Mackersey, R. E. Bibby, D- J. Alderton. H. A. Ellingham, G. M. Hill. The following staff-sergoante-major have reported for duty at Trentbam as infantry' instructors: C. B. Wright and G. B. Stevenson. The following temporary appointments of; n.c.o.’s have been approved by the Camp Commandant (Lieuten-ant-Colonel Potter): — Headquarters Staff (Records Office); To be corporals, Privates G. B. Collyns and L. J. Lawson. Lieutenant R. J. G. Palmer has been transferred from the 13th Reinforcements to C Company 11th, and 2nd Lieutenant W. B. Vercoe from C Company 11th to C Company 12th. . RANGIOTU CAMP. At Rangiotu, where the 3rd and 4th Battalions, N.Z. Rifle Brigwle, are encamped, 'it has been notified that all men sent on sick leave from a training camp hpist report to the P.H.O. of the district, or, where this cannot be done without an, extended journey being made, to a medical officer in the district appointed by the P.Af.O., before they carry out their instructions to retur n to- camp. The reason is that a large nhmber of the men return to camp unfit, and the department is put to the expense of attain - returning them; to their homes on pick leave. When a soldier is given a sick leave certificate it should be stated on the certificate where he is to report upon expiry of such leave. . .. The following temporary promotions have been approved: * 3rd Battalion. C Company; To be eergeant, LanceSergeant A. Shearer; to be lance-ser-geants, Corporals A. Morgan, H. C Company: Seoond-Lieutenant 8/ Mawley from A Company and SeoondLieutenant D.'Kennedy. D Company: Second-Lieutenant Greenwood from A Company. ' Temporary Appointments. The following temporary appointments have received approval: A Company: Lance-Corporals^J. H. Menzies and J. N. Hayes te he_ corporals, and Riflemen S. Wright, S. A. C. Darby, W. O. Kellett, A. F. Deering, H. J- Hawker, and G. Little to be lance-corporals. Sergeant J. McKay has been transferred from'A.S.C. to 3rd Battalion. The Rev. Owen Doyle, chaplain, 4th class, has reported for duty, and been posted to the 3rd Battalion. SecondLieutenant J- H- Dick, N.Z.A.6.C-, who has also reported for duty, has been attached to the supply depot. The following n.c.o.’s having passed the examination for promotion are . appointed si»cond lieutenants (on probation), with effect from January 21st, 1916 = Sergeant-Major C. E.
