From a good start Malvolio moved out in front, Olga Carlovna, Eorke’s Drift and San Sebastian being slow to move. Helicon joined Malvoiio before reaching tho far turn, and Benefit and Wingform ran into third place. ■ Eerke’s Drift was in charge at the distance, and won by a length and a half from San Sebastian, who beat Wingform by a good three lengths. Going to the far turn Slogan took third place. Going up the rise Palisade led Slogan, All Ready and Wishful. Cortes joined Afton Loch at the home turn, and in the run to the post Alton Loch stalled off the challenge and heat Cortes by a length. Recorder nearly four lengths away. Dalkeith joined tho leaders, but at the distance Thaddeus was in charge, and going on won by four lengths from Canrobur, Golden Rupee halt a head away. At the far turn Cortes liad drawn, out a couple of lengths from Mountain Dream, with Hap , Dha improving his position. , Cortes and Mountain Dream slung out at the turn and gave Hap Dha an advantage, but in tho run home Mountain Dream came on and beat Hap Dha by a neck.
