SOLWAY SHOWGROUND TO BE USED. Special to the “Times.” MASTERTON, July 12. . Dr Valintine visited Masterton this afternoon and discussed with representatives of the Masterton A. and P. Association, the Farmers’ Union, patriotic committee, and Defence'authorities the question of establishing a camp at Masterton for a portion of those troops removed from Tronthani. The Masterton A. and P- Association offered the use of the Solway show grounds, and it was ‘ultimately decided to accept the offer, and seven hundred men will go into camp there to-morrow. The show grounds are about a mile and a half from town. It is probable that 600 more men will go into camp next week at the Masterton racecourse.
