FOUND DROWNED

Frees Association. DUNEDIN, July 7. Whilst coming up the Victoria Channel this morning, the crew of the tug Plucky observed a man’s body floating near the cement works. On removal to the morgue the remains were identified by Mr Daniel Taylor, of Canongate street, as those of his son Thomas, aged twenty-two years. Deceased was last seen alive at 7 a.m. on May 10th, when he left home to go to work at Hillside workshops, but failed to put in an appearance.
