RIVERINA ARRIVES
DIRTY, WEATHER ACROSS THE

The Biveriua arrived from Sydney at noon. From the time of her departure from Sydney, at noon on Thursday, she did not see the sun or stars, and the captain depended entirely on dead reckoning till Sunday, at 3 p.m., when he sighted land in the vicinity of Cape Maria. He did not obtain soundings until 10 on Sunday night, having been cruising about off tho North Cape for two days in thick weather. When the position was located by soundings, tho vessel was thirty miles E.N.E. of Cape Maria. She experienced dirty weather thence to port. Captain Entwistle was continuously on the bridge from Thursday night till Sunday night. The Riverina suffered no damage.
