MURDER OF A FARMER
YOUNGEST SON UNDER ARRESf. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright ADELAIDE, March At the inquest bn* William E. Esbott, black trackers gave evidence that they discovered tracks leading from the house of deceased to a shaft, where a gun was found. The tracks were those of Harold Escott, deceased’s youngest son, who is at present in custody on a charge of murder. [William F. Escott, farmer, of Black Springs, was shot by an unknown person on the evening of March loth. The shot, which proved fatal, was fired through the window of his office, and apparently- the weapon, a shotgun, was placed close to the window. Escott was one of the oldest residents of Black Springs.] COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. ' (Received March 26, 10 p.m.), ADELAIDE, March 26. Harold Scott has been committed for trial for the alleged murder' of his father.
