TROOPS AT SAMOA
WEEKLY HEALTH BULLETIN. The Defence authorities have received the following message from the officer commanding at Samoa, under date February 2Vth: — “Health of troops good. Wellington Regiment.—Private C. A. McCombie, septic ankle; L. A. .Marchant, ulcer behind knee; F. A. Rogers, dysentery ; H. Vivian, tonsilitis. Auckland Regiment.—Private Peek, convalescent. Railway Engineers.—Sappers J. E. Angus, dengue fever; C. V. Crochetto, gastric; M. J. Firth, dengue fever; H. G. Hawke, anaemia; LanceCorporal B. G. Smith, hernia; Sapper R. P. Thomas, dysentery. Field Engineers.—Sapper R. C. Johnston, dysentery ; R. H. Rose, electric burns. Machine Gun Section.—Private C. S. Girdlestone, colitis. All doing well.” NINE MEMBERS RETURN. Press Association AUCKLAND, March 1.Nine members of the Samoan expeditionary force returned by the Atua last night—namely, Privates Le Cren, Bell, and Lovall (Auckland), Stubbs (Wellington), Gunner Pearce, Sappers Brewery and Biodic, and Privates Drew and Thompson.
