VITAL STATISTICS
INCREASE AND DECREASES
The vital statistics for Wellington for the last nine months show that there were 119 more births, than in the corresponding period of 1913, while the marriages increased by 76 .and deaths by 96. During the month just ended lere was only one more birth than n September of last year, in marriages there was a decrease of six, and deaths showed an increase of 25. The num- ,• of marriages celebrated in the R<>--istrar's office continues to grow, tha figures for the month having increased y five, and for - the nine months by 41. The returns are as follow: —
