On clause 3. “Constitution of Council of the Victoria University College,” Mr McCallum (Wairau) moved tho deletion of a eubclause providing foi the representation of the Professorial Board by two members. On a division the amendment Was negatived by 31 to 12. The bill was reported with unimportant amendments. THIRD READING. / _ • The Land and Income Tax Bill was read a third time. The House adjourned 10 minutes after midnight.
