DANCE AT THE TRAINING COLLEGE.
The annual social and dance in connection with tho Training College was held there last evening, and was decidedly one of the most successful yet held both in regard to numbers’ and general arrangements. The first part of the evening was devoted competitions interspersed with musical items, after which all the guests, adjourned to the lecture hall, whore a dainty supper was artistically sot out. Tho college colours, green and gold, were used with artistic effect, making a pretty contrast to the soft rose shade of the ballroom. Mr Morgan,/ the now science master, was enthusiastically welcomed to his position on the staff, and the remainder of tho evening was spent in dancing. Amongst those present, were Mr and Mrs Tennont, Mr and Mrs Morgan, Mrs Thornton, Miss Sinclair, Miss Hall, and other members of the staff.
