During Mr Lloyd George’s political speech at Oriocieth, Carnarvonshire, Wales, several suffragettes were removed for interrupting. Others smashed windows in High street.. Three were arrested.

LONDON, June 2. Throe young suffragcites chained themselves to the main gates of Buckingham Palace. The chains wore severed by the police, and the women arrested. . “TRAITORS TO THEIR SEX.” (Received .June 3, 11 p.m.) LONDON, June 3. Mrs Mansell denounced society leaders for entertaining Cabinet Ministers. The women 'harbouring them would be treated by the suffragettes as traitors to their sox.

LONDON, June 3. ■ Throe men were charged with attempting to duck suffragettes in a pond. The magistrate discharged them with a caution without hearing the dofenoo, remarking that it was impossible to shut his eyes to the suffragettes’ behaviour, which created strong resentment and disgust. During the. hearing of the Maida Yolo case Rose and Nellie Hall continuously interrupted. H4II warned the magistrate that • bis house would bo burnt.
The police produced a letter purporting to be signed by a well-known suffragette, in whicb it was stated that a lady’s secretary had planned to bum the mistress’s house in revenge for her non-militancy. The house was subsequently burned. The burning of Wurgravo Church aroused intense indignation. Three exploded bombs were discovered in the ruins- ,
