The report of the committee which [inquired into the cadets “breaking” at [Liverpool camp in November, haa Seen tabled in Parliament, It states that the extent of the disturbance was much over-stated, and (that it was the result of the ignorlanod of inexperienced youths rather than of insubordination. The want of experience among the officers and inefficient arrangements were contributing causes, but the brigadier ia principally blamed. , Senator Millen, Minister for Defence, referring to the report, said faat the reproach cast on the cadets (sob unmerited. Ho strongly condemned the repugnant; system ’Of’gecrofc reports, by which officers wert* [condemned without any chance of defence. Orders would bo issued that the fullest opportunity for defence, (should be afforded in the future.
