AGAINST TRAMWAY MOTORMAN. Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 20. The hearing of tho charge of manslaughter against George Frederick Ecles, the motorman of the tramcar by which Michael Rohan was knocked down and fatally injured on April 30th, was. commenced in tho Police Court to-day. Deceased was employed by tho Tramway Company, and was working as a surfaceman at tho time of tho fatality. Tho hearing was adjourned.
