FIRE AT WANGANUI

4 fire broke out at 2,16 a.m. at the residence of Mrs J. H. Nixon, Wanganui East. 'The building, of sixteen rooms was totally destroyed, one of the inmates having a narrow escape. The following are the insurances: £SOO on the house in the Royal Exchange office and £IOO on tho furniture in the 'Yorkshire office.
