AMENDMENT DESIRED IN NEW SOUTH WALES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received March 13, 1 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 12. The League of Wheelmen has decided to support a deputation to the Premier in favour of an amendment to the Gaining Act permitting betting at sports meetings. The league strongly favours the totalisator, but, failing that, would rather have regulated betting with registered Bookmakers than the present system. ' .
