FURTHER PUBLIC APPEAL.

The committee in charge of the King Edward memorial fund has been advised by an anonymous lady who had promised £25,000 towards laying out public parks, that she was unable, owing to sudden financial misfortunes, to fulfil her undertaking.
A further appeal to the public is therefore necessary.
