IMPROVED CONDITIONS

The King has arranged that the bourers on his Sandringham and other estates shall receive a Saturday halfholiday and continuity of Employment, rain or shine. The minimum rate of pay has been fixed at 16s weekly, which "is 2s above the r.uling,.wage in the neighbourhood. The majority of the men already receive 20s to 26s
