The nimble-fingered pickpocket is again making his presence known in Wellington. In the crush at the Opera House on Saturday night a young man had his hip pocket picked of a purse, which, fortunately for the, owner, contained only a small sum of money. The loser was wearing an overcoat at the time of the theft.
Mr A. O. Frandi will address the Garibaldi Club on Sunday afternoon next. E. Johnston and Co. Lambton quay, have a good boardinghouse in central position for immediate sale.
