Hobhouso, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, speaking at Bristol, said he was sanguine there would be a rapprochement on the Homo Rulo question. Ho added that if opportunities for peace were neglected it would be disastrous, and equally disastrous if violence was yielded to.
