ALLEGATIONS OF BIGAMY. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, July 16. There was an extraordinary develop'iientin what looked like a simple maintenance case in the Magistrate's Court this morning. John Edward McKee was charged with failing to maintain an illegitimate child. Complainant said she went through a form of marriage two rears ago. Counsel for complainant alleged that MeKee had had a wife then living. McKee declared that his first wife had married again. Tire senior sergeant, who conducted the case, said this was the first the police had heard of the affair. The allegations arc now being investigated.
