Tho celebratiop of tho twenty-fifth anniversary of tho Kaiser’s accession to the throne was on a lavish scale. There were decorations and fetes iu all tho cities. Inscriptions on buildings embraced famous utterances by tbo Kaiser, including “ Our Future Lies on the Water.” Germans in England raised £37,000, which the Kaiser will devote to the relief of the aged and infirm. Germans in Great , Britain held a commemorative ceremony. In the Reichstag, tho President described tho Kaiser as “a prince of peace.” Germans would draw their swords only to defend tho German people’s means of existence. SERVICES IN ALL GARRISON CHURCHES. (Received June 17, 0.30 a.m.) • BERLIN, Juno IG. Twenty-four thousand veterans attended an open-air service at Tempelhoferfeld. Services were held in all the garrison churches in memory of tho late Emperor Frederick. FRIENDLY REFERENCES IN PRESS. (Received Juno 17, 0.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 16. The newspapers make friendly references to the Kaiser’s jubilee and the chief events of his reign are featured. The Lord Mayor of London forwarded to the Kaiser tho city’s good wishes. Prince Lichnowsky entertained 1000 German residents. The King was represented at a thanksgiving service in tho German church and the whole diplomatic corps attended.
