Mrs H. D. Bell and her daughter, Mrs Belles ton, left on Saturday for DargavULe.

Miss H. J. Vine. Wanganui was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of tbe Supreme Court by his Honor Mr Justice Chapman last week. Mrs Cyril Collins left by the Main Trunk on Monday for her .new home in Auckland, her house being in that prettiest of suburbs, Eemuera. The concert which was to have taken place in connection with the funds of tho Moral and Physical Health Society is unavoidably postponed. Mrs North, wife of Lieutenant North, H.M.S. New Zealand, is the (meet of the Hon. H. D, Bell and the Misses Bell, but leaves for Auckland on Thursday. A committee meeting of the Girl Peace Scouts will be held at 4.30 p.m. day at the residence of Mrs David Nathan. All members of the committee are requested to attend. In her capacity as patroness of the Girl Peace Scouts, her Excellency Lady Liverpool will be present at the entertainment in aid of their funds, to be given at His Majesty’s on Thursday evening. Tho Misses J. K. Larsen, B. M. Blackburns. and B. Greenwood have been appointed additional instructors in the Physical Education Department. Miss Larsen received her education in Denmark. and has been training teachers in Napier. The Misses Blackburne and Greenwood have been engaged in private teaching in Wellington and Nelson respectively.
