LONDON. Jane 15, WHEAT. The wheat market is dull, with an easier tendency; 38a 3d is asked for Australian January-Febiuary shipment, 3da lor April, and 37s 3d for cargoes loading. Pacific Coast wheat put afloat was 18,000, as against none last week# and none a year ago. The total quantity of wheat and flour shipped from all exporting countries during the week ended June 14th was equivalent to 1.385,000 quarters of wheat, compared with 1.700,000 quarters in the previous week, and 1,550,000 quarters a year ago. The weekly total includes 79,000 quarters of Australasian wheat. HIGH COMMISSIONEE’S HEPOKT. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram from the High Commissioner, dated London, June 14tu. Chilled supplies are decreasing. Prices

Butter—The market is rather quiet, but there is a Rood demand for choicest New Zealand and Australian. All prices hare declined excepting Danish. Choioest New Zealand, per cvrt, 113 s; Danish, 116 s 6d; Australian. 105 s; Siberian, 100 s. Cheese—Stocks are sufficient for demand, which is very fair. Prices maintained. (Mutilated word omitted here.) No change in prices. Hemp—The market has been depressed, cut at the close there was a better demand. During this week good fair was selling at JB2i 10s; fair. X 25. The value to-day is about 5s to 10s lower for any position. Fair current Manila. .£29 10s, all positions. The output from Manila for the week was 12.000 bales. Oats—The market is quiet, but steady. Old crop: A moderate supply New Zealand oafs, short (sparrowbills), ex granary, per quarter of 3841 b, 235; Danish, per quarter of 3201 b, 21s fid. New crop: Nothing offering here. Peas—The market remains firm for best quality. Demand spot is good. New Zealand peas (partridge), per 5041 b, 425. Old crop: Inferior selling very slowly; per 6041 b, 37s 6d. ... 1 Beans —The market is quiet, but Arm. New Zealand beans, f-a.q., old crop, per 5041 b, 40s. ' Cocksfoot —Nothing has been done.
