MAN FOUND UNCONSCIOUS WITH BROKEN BICYCLE. Press Association. WANGANUI, June 16. A distressing accident took place this afternoon. . ' A man named Reginald Connon was found unconscious on the road with a broken bicycle beside him. He had evidently been knocked down by a passing vehicle. At the hospital he was found to have sustained a large scalp wound, a broken jaw-bone, and a broken bone in the shoulder. He has not yet recovered consciousness, so has given no account of how tlie accident occurred.

He is the sole support of his widowed mother.
