REFORM PARTY’S AIMS
ADDRESS BY ME FISHES. Press Association. AUCKLAND, February 28. A vigorous speech upon the character of the Reform party and its aims and aspirations was given by the Hon. F. M. B. Fisher at the Reform Club to-night. Messrs J. H. Bradney and Mander, were present. There arrived in company with the Minister Messrs Coates and Glover, MJP.’s, and Mr Fisher prefaced his remarks with a reference to their presence, as they are known as Independent Opposition members. Ho said that his opinion was that it was well to meet opponents and discuss matters with them openly and fairly. He sincerely hoped, too, that the members who he had invited into the club would be convinced that the party in Eower was worthy of their support, ut if they were of the contrary opinion they had a full right to exercise their judgment.
