TARANAKI A. & P. SHOW
TJi© Taranaki Agricultural Society working to secure the most eacoMSful show ever held in Taranaki. t secretary, Mr Cliff, leports that the butter entries, which closed on Wednesday last, are a record for the society, tbs number being 42. This is very creditable when it is remembered that a great number of the factories formerly producing butter are now cheeeeumldng. Ihe secretary also reports that a great number of farmers who have not shown for year® have informed him of then* intention ox again facing the judge. The reason for this is that the farmers are recognising that it is a great deal easier to place stock in the ring in show form at thm time of the year than in the spring. Farmers and fanciers who have not al» ready received a' schedule of competiia.one' should apply to the secretary and on/ will be forwarded free of charge.
