On November 26th the Hutt river, according to the report submitted by the Eiver Board’s overseer, rose to a height of 10ft sin, being the_ second highest flood recorded since the installation of the river protective works. The highest flood toot place on July 25th, 1911, when the river rose Uft 6in.
