REQUEST CONCERT
Next Wednesday evening, in the Town Hall concert chamber, Mr Hamilton Hodges will give his "request concert," the programme for which will comprise songs bv Schubert, Bizet, Biumenthal, and \\ allace. Miss rhleen Driscoll, a mezzo-soprano of grval: promise, will sing "Eecit et Air da Lia" (an aria from D •Iju-iiey s famous opsra “L Enfant Prodigu.-"), which was one of the outstanding foatuios of the repertoire of the Quinlan Opera Company in iielboume I et month. Mr Ozones will play excerpts from Beethovn, Hauser. and Dvorak. The ; ccompanist is Airs E. H. Oueree. The box plan is open at the Dresden, where concession tickets may also ba obtained.
