AN ALPINE TRAGEDY
PARIS, August 4. Mademoiselle Van Goethen has died from congestion of the-brain, as the result of an accident in the Alps. She fell over a precipice on the Domenon Glacier and was suspended for eight hours. Her brother held her up by her skirts until help arrived.
