LABOR’S ATTITUDE
LIBERAL CANDIDATES MUST TAKE THEIR CHANCE PRESS ASSOCIATION. INVERCARGILL, August 5. The Southland District Labor Council passed the following resolution: — '’That, in tho opinion of tho council, it is inimical to the interests of tho Labor Farty that any flitting Liberal member during the present Farfiament be recognised as a Labor member, and \uat it is aesirous that suen attitude be observed until tho next, general election, when Liberals who join the Labor Farty will have to take their chances at the baßot with other candidates before they can be recognised as Labor members of Parliament."
