EMPIRE SCHOOLS’ MATCH,

Following is the complete list of positions occupied by New Zealand schools in-the Empire Schools’ Rifle Match. The possible was SGO. and the senior match was won by Durban, who scored 496. Fifty-four schools competed:— Sixth, Palmerston North. 485;' 9th, Auckland Grammar, 484; 12th, .Waitaki High School, 480; 13th. Wellington College, 480; 15th, King’s College, Auckland, 480; 18th, Wanganui College, 475; 20th, St. John’s. Auckland, 474 ; 23rd, Nelson College, 468: 27th. Otago Boys’ High, 462; 39th, Christ's College, 443; 47th, Marlborough High. 4417; 50th, Christchurch Boys' High, 393 ; 53rd, Ashburton High, 357. In the junior competition seven teams competed, Wellington College (England) winning with 471. Auckland Grammar (453) was second, and King’s College, Auckland (430), third.
