Wanderers journeying to Porirua and suffering defeat at the hands of tho Hospital (cam. Y.M.C.A. and St. John’s claimed their games by default. Thistle v. Corinthian and Diamonds v. Ramblers games were abandoned owing to tho grounds being unplayable. Most of the lower grade matches were played, including the game Marist Bros. y. St. Mary’s (Blenheim). HOSPITAL v. WANDERERS. This game was played in heavy rain and on a very sodden ground and good football was out of the question. Phillips, Hughes, Roots, Cross, and Bishop scored for Hospital, and Hayward for Wanderers. Mr I nee was referee. SECOND DIVISION. Teas defeated Swifts by 2 goals to 1. THIRD DIVISION. Brooklyn 4 defeated Petone 2.
