For tho third time in succession last Saturday af’emoon was wot, and tho fixture, set own were somewhat mixed up. Of the five senior games that should have eventuated only one was played. Wanderers journeying to Porirua and suffering defeat at the hands of tho Hospital (cam. Y.M.C.A. and St. John’s claimed their games by default. Thistle v. Corinthian and Diamonds v. Ramblers games were abandoned owing to tho grounds being unplayable. Most of the lower grade matches were played, including the game Marist Bros. y. St. Mary’s (Blenheim). HOSPITAL v. WANDERERS. This game was played in heavy rain and on a very sodden ground and good football was out of the question. Phillips, Hughes, Roots, Cross, and Bishop scored for Hospital, and Hayward for Wanderers. Mr I nee was referee. SECOND DIVISION. Teas defeated Swifts by 2 goals to 1. THIRD DIVISION. Brooklyn 4 defeated Petone 2.

Brooklyn lost to Johnsonville by 2 goals to nil; Marist defeated St. David't by 3 goals to nil; Institute beat T.M.C.A by 3to 1; Marist defeated Y.M.C.A. Bbj t to 1. SIXTH A DIVISION. Sentoun defeated Brooklyn by 3 goali to 2, after a close game. PUBLIC SCHOOLS LEAGUE. Hawkestone Marist {SJ, Thorndon (0), Maranui (9), Thorndon (0); Northland. 10), itoseneath (0); Marist’e (Tasman) easily defeated Kilbimie by Bto 0. Davit scored 3, Mahonfy 3, Callaghan and Andrews 1 each. MARIST BEOS.‘v. ST. MART'S (BLENHEIM). Marist Bros, drew with St. Mary’s aftei a close game, the score being 3 goals each.
