ANTI-MEAT CRUSADE
LABOR PROTEST AGAINST HIGH PRICES.
MELBOURNE, August 2. At a meeting of labor unions and tho Political Labor League at Portland, a protest was made against the extortionate and unjustifiable increased prices of meat and butter. Those present pledged themselves not to eat 'neat till the price is considerably reduced.
