A SOUTHERN WEDDING

The marriage of Mies Alice GibsonSmith, youngest daughter of tho late Dr Gibson-Smith, of Balclutha, and sister of Mrs D. M. Findlay, took place at Invercargill on July 4th. The wedding, a very quiet one, at which only intimate friends and relations were present, was of great interest to the wide circle of friends of the .Gibson-Smith family in the south. The bridegroom. Captain R. S. Lewis, son of the Rev. AV. H. Lewis, of Ponthill, Gyford, Tisbury, England, la in. command of the Kumara. An unusually large number of beautiful wedding gifts spoke of the affection of a large circle of friends. Mrs Lewis leaves by tho Tainui to-day to join .her husband on bis arrival in England.
