LIQUOR IN MASTERTON

CARD PROPRIETOR FINED. SPECIAL TO THE “ TIMES.” MASTERTON, December 10. At the Magistrate’s Court on Saturday, before Mr'L. G. Reid, S.M., Bernard Douglas was charged that (1) between September 10th and December 2nd he kept liquor for sale within the no-license area of Masterton; (2). that between September 10th and December 2nd t being the occupier of the Club Cafe, situated in the no-lioenso district of Masterton, ho did allow the premises to be used as a place of resort for the consumption of liquor. . The first case was dismissed, and on the second charge accused was fined 40s, and costa 7s.
