Lord Aberdeen, and several bishops, headmasters, and representatives of rescue societies, deputationised Mr R. McKenna, Homo Secretary, regarding demoralising literature and cinematographs. The Bishop of London (Dr Ingram) denounced the so-called classic dancing and sex novels. Mr McKenna premised that the Government would facilitate a "White Slave Traffic Bill.
