After the the members of the hoard, Mrs Mackay, and tho statf, were entertained at supper at tho college. , Miss Knapp, 8.A., of tho Girls College, has been granted one year's absence, ana left on Wednesday for Nelson. She leaves later for Europe via Sydney- A number of friends were at the station to bid nei bon voyage. , , . Mr W. Gray, at one tamo head inspector for tho Education Board here, and now of the Training College, Wellington, was in town this week, and was a guest of tno Girls’ College for the prize-giving. Miss Mollison, teacher of cookery for tho public schools and Girls' College, loft ou Thursday for Dunedin to spend tno vacation. ~ , Mise L. Beckinsgale, B.A. (Girls College), left on Thursday for Christchurch to spend tho holidays. « ■ .. Mrs Suisted (Carlton) spending the holidays with her mother, Mrs Cuff, Wellington. > . _ Mrs McKelvie (Rangitikcl) was m town during the week. ■ Mrs and Miss Elgar (Wellington) were hero for the college break-up. Miss Eileen Haslett has been appointed assistant teacher for the Girls' College during the absence of Miss Knapp.
