Italy has notified tho Powers that Italian sovereignty has been established from tho Egyptian to the Tunisian frontiers, and inland to tho British and French spheres of influenco. THE RECENT ENGAGEMENT. TREACHEROUS ATTACK ON ITALIAN REAR. TRIPOLI, October 26. In tho recent attach on Tripoli, the Arabs who made the treacherous rear attack on the Italians infligted heavy losses on tho 11th Jlersaglieri. Tho fight lasted eight hours. Tho broken country afforded the enemy excellent cover. Two thousand arrests of Arabs who acted treacherously have been made. Three hundred dead Turks were .found outside tho Italians* left. TURKISH FORLORN HOPE. DELEGATION TO EUROPEAN CAPITALS. CONSTANTINOPLE, October 26. A delegation consisting of six members of the Turkish Parliament will start on Saturday on a visit to European capitals to endeavour to get the nations- to support a proposal for the settlement of tho Turco-Italian war by arbitration.
