DECREE NISI GRANTED

Reserved decision was given by his Honor the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) yesterday morniug in the divorce case of Arthur Easterly Stokes v. Ada Rosina Stokes, The petition was made on tho ground of desertion, evidence'for the petitioner showing that tho parties Separated on their marriage day and had not seen each other afterwards until tho proceedings were instituted tor divorce. His Honor had previously adjourned tho caso in order that corroborative evidence of desertion might be obtained. He now held that, in tho peculiar circumstances oi the case, the corroborative evidence submitted was sufficient. A decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute in three mouths.

Mr F. P. Kelly appeared for the petitioner.
