Nominations for the spring meeting of the Wellington Racing CJub close with Mr A. B. Whyte on Monday next. Entries for the Canterbury Cup, Metropolitan Handicap, Stead Gold Cup, and other big events of the Canterbury Jockey Club's November meeting, are duo next Friday.
Acceptances for the Hawke's Bay Jockey Clu’s spring meeting close with Mr W, j. Stratton, at Hastings, to-morrow at 8 p.ra.
Mr G. Morse will declare the handicaps for the first day of the Marlborough Racing Club's spring meeting on or about Saturday next.
Second forfeits for the Derby, of 400 eovs, and the Epsom Handicap, of 1500 sovs, the two big events on the first day of tho Australian Jockcj' Club's spring meeting, are due at 4 p.m. on Thursday. Tho big RandwicH fixture commences on Saturday.
