Consols were quoted this morning nt £77 16a 3d, a fall of 16s 3d since Friday last. Later they fell still further and touched £77 15s, but recovered slightly, tho closing prico being £7S ss. German bonds and French Rentes have also fallen in price. REASSURING- rumours. A CONFERENCE PROBABLE. LONDON, July 2G. On the Stock Exchange thero are rumours that tho Powers havo arranged for a conference on tho Moroccan question, to bo held iu October, Germany withdrawing moanwhilo.

BERLIN, July 26.
The semi-official “ Cologne Gazette ” declares that if France wants merely to act on the Algociros Agreement she can settle matters by withdrawing her troops from the capital, opening the doors wide to international trade, and giving guarantees that she does not regard Morocco as a French colony. Germany, after securing her economic interests in the Sns district, would then doubtless withdraw from Agadir. The “ Gazette ” continues: “ The burning point is, "What compensation Bam Germany daim for Franco’s increase of power in Morocco?” ALARMIST STATEMENT MODIFIED 'Sraß BRITISH ATLANTIC FLEET. LONDON, July 26. Agency announces that the change of itinerary of the Atlantic Fleet, the cancellation of a projected visit to Norway, is unconnected with the Moroccan situation. INCIDENT AT EARACHE AN INSANE FRENCHMAN ■WOUNDED. TANGIER, July 26. A Frenchman, suffering from mental troubles at Laraohe, raced naked through the streets at night and threw himself on a Spanish sentinel, who fired, wounding the Frenchman.
