ORPHANS' CLUB.

Lord Islington will visit the Orphans' Club to-morrow evening. As this is the first visit of his Excellency complete preparations are being made by the executive and members to make the evening a memorable occasion. An "ode** of welcome has been specially written, and this will be sung by Orphan Noton, supported by a chorus of twenty voices. The orchestra will play selections from "The Gondoliers,” and ‘'Take a Pair of Sparkling Byes” will be sung by Orphan Pletcher, with orchestral accompaniment.
