OVERSEA MAILS

BRITISH AND AMERICAN ARRIVE TO-DAY. The Victoria, with British and Australian mails, which left Sydney last Wednesday, arrived at Auckland shortly n [ter 5 o'clock last evening. Tho southern portion of tho moils will arrive at W oiling ton at 4.7 pan. to-day by the Main Trunk express. A San Francisco mail, which arrived at Auckland early yesterday morning by the Strathardle, will also arrive at Wellington this afternoon.
