MISSIONS TO SEAMEN

There was a large audience at the Missions to Seamen Institute last evening, when the weekly ambulance meeting was held. The missioner (Mr James Moore) (rave several demonstrations showing how to bandage a scalp wound, bleeding- arteries, a burned face, and various other accidents. Competitions in first-aid were won by sailors from shirs in port. Elocutionary items were given during the evening by Messrs Tin gey, Girdlestone, Carroll, and Bond (s.s. Kuahine).
