ATHLETIC AGREEMENT

CHRISTCHURCH, February 17. At a meeting of the Nortßi Canterbury C'enltre of the New Zealand Atfhletic Union last evening, the following motion was passed:—"That this centre, being unanimously of opinion that the action of the executive of the union in delaying the signing. of tie agreement between the union and the League of Wheelmen is unwarranted and inimical to Tne beet interests of,sport, respectfully, requests the executive to take immediate steps to bring about the adoption of' the agreement submitted by the league; amd failing prompt measures being taken by the executive this centre will consider the advisability of taking such steps as it may deem fit to protect the interest of athletics in its own district.
